We are delighted to announce that Gareth Booth has accepted the role of our new first team manager.

Gareth works at Peterborough United Foundation and coaches multiple age groups.
In the 2023/24 season, he was the manager of Whittlesey Athletic Ladies first team leading them to the Cambridgeshire Premier League title, the Alan Boswell League Cup and The Cambridgeshire Senior County Cup with the team scoring 116 goals and conceding just 9 goals and losing just one game all season.

Gareth had this to say:
“I’m really pleased to have joined Cardea as the Ladies first team manager. It’s nice to join and be part of a very ambitious club and I’m excited to hopefully be able to take them to the next level.”

Gareth has been working with the girls for the last few months with a view of taking over at the end of the season, he is now tasked with progressing the team up the table.
