Stanground Cardea opened their Hunts Sunday Cup campaign in September with a 4-2 win over PSV. In the quarter finals Stanground Cardea were awarded a walkover following a forfeit by Huntingdon FC.

The semi final was a penalty win over George & Dragon after the game had finished 1-1 at full time.

Orton's route to the final was much simpler with a bye in the first round and a walkover win over Sunrisers in the quarter finals.

A 3-0 win over the Stanground Cardea Development side saw Orton through to the final.
