The first team beat Moorhen Reserves 6-2, with Charlie Bosett scoring a first half hat-trick. A Martyn Fox double and a Jamie Cogings goal wrapped up the win for the Division 1 side.
The reserves were heading out of the cup, trailing 1-0 to Stanground Eagles, but an 87th minute James Ware equaliser sent the game to penalties.
Keeper Finn Britton saved the first Eagles penalty and five perfect strikes from Jon Saunders, Andrew James, Connor Shaw, Callum Boyes and Lee English saw the reserves through to the semis 5-4 on penalties.
The potential of a semi final pairing of both teams will bring back memories from 2015 when the first team came out 5-1 winners against the reserves and went on to lift the trophy.
