Last years manager Louie Cooper announced last week that he would need to step down due to work and family commitments and the club have moved quickly to promote Matt into the managerial position with the support of experienced former Baston manager Clarke.

Additionally, the club would like to wish Louie all the best and thank him for helping to stabilise the reserve team last year.

Cardea Reserves start their pre season fixtures next week with a game against the Cardea First Team which is a 2pm kick off at Middletons Road, Yaxley.
